Uniswap launches Pools token launchpad on Robinhood Chain
Uniswap Labs introduced Pools, a dedicated token launchpad built on Robinhood Chain, the Ethereum Layer 2 network launched by Robinhood in July 2026. The platform offers two launch modes: Crowd Launch, featuring a four-hour TWAP bidding window that mitigates bundling and ensures fairer distribution, and Instant Launch, which uses a classic bonding curve for immediate trading.
Pools incorporates several investor-protection features: autocompounding liquidity where LP fees automatically grow locked positions, permanent locked liquidity that cannot be removed by creators, and sniping mitigation requiring creators to buy in the same block as token launch. Each pool charges a 0.25% LP fee that autocompounds to grow liquidity, with creators optionally earning 0.05%. The platform charges no additional launchpad fees beyond standard Uniswap v4 protocol fees.
Tokens launched on Pools immediately inherit Uniswap's distribution surface across the Web App, Wallet, API, and dozens of third-party integrators. Uniswap Labs explicitly disclaims that Pools is designed for memecoins — assets created for entertainment purposes with extremely volatile prices that may go to zero. The company has not reviewed or endorsed any launched tokens.

Cloudflare launches Wallets for the agentic Internet
Cloudflare announced Cloudflare Wallets, programmable wallets designed for AI agents to autonomously purchase APIs and content using the x402 protocol. The solution addresses two key challenges for agents: lack of stable identifiers and native payment methods.Account Wallets are designed for humans who own Cloudflare accounts, allowing them to add funds, delegate spending to Virtual Wallets, and set guardrails. Virtual Wallets operate via API keys and enable agents to spend within defined limits, such as allowances, allow lists, and maximum transaction sizes. The system uses stablecoin micropayments via x402, allowing agents to explore and test APIs with minimal friction. Spending caps give agents autonomy while limiting overspending risk. This framework aims to enable the growth of agentic commerce, where AI agents can independently discover, evaluate, and purchase services across the web.

Circle renews Coinbase partnership through 2029
Circle has renewed its partnership with Coinbase under existing terms through 2029, ending speculation about potential renegotiations. The deal, which dates back to September 2018 when both companies jointly launched USDC, remains critical for Circle — the company paid Coinbase $908 million in 2024 for USDC distribution, representing approximately 54% of its revenue.
Circle reported Q2 2026 revenue of $701.3 million, up 7% year-over-year, with USDC circulation reaching $73.3 billion (19% growth YoY). USDC now holds approximately 27-29% global stablecoin market share and dominates transaction volume at 40%+. CEO Jeremy Allaire emphasized that the renewed partnership ensures USDC remains central to Coinbase's product ecosystem while Circle continues expanding distribution through strategic partners.
CFO Jeremy Fox-Geen ruled out quarterly dividends, stating Circle will maintain a strong balance sheet and prioritize capital for growth and strategic investments. He positioned Circle as a high-growth company where current capital allocation is expected to generate higher long-term shareholder returns than dividend payments. The stock (CRCL) debuted on NYSE in June 2025 at $31 and surged to over $117, reaching a $23.5 billion fully diluted valuation.
