Invest stock indices in crypto exchange

With the pump of mainland China A-share stock market, Bybit is introducing the ability to trade major indices using USDT on MT5. Now, you can now access the China A50 Index Cash CFD (USD), Dow Jones Index Cash CFD (USD), NAS100 Cash, Nikkei Index Cash CFD (JPY), Hang Seng Index Cash CFD (HKD) and more, starting from Oct.2.

I'm curious to know how Bybit market makes such contracts, because there's no way to directly use USDT to trade those indices.

Bitwise replacing future-based crypto funds

Bitwise is converting three of its futures-based exchange-traded products (Bitwise Bitcoin Strategy Optm Roll ETF (BITC), Bitwise Ethereum Strategy ETF (AETH) and Bitwise Bitcoin and Eth Eq Wgh Str ETF (BTOP)) into a single fund ~2 months later. The fund will be renamed the Bitwise Trendwise Bitcoin and Treasuries Rotation Strategy ETF, will rotate between 100% exposure to crypto futures contracts and 100% exposure to U.S. Treasuries.

In a statement, Bitwise said that the launch of the spot bitcoin and ethereum ETFs earlier this year has made futures-based crypto funds less compelling for investors looking for long-term capital appreciation. With the new fund, the asset manager can better manage the volatility of the crypto market by rotating between 100% exposure to crypto futures contracts and 100% exposure to U.S. Treasuries based on market trends.
